Welcome to the Global Action Nepal website. Global Action Nepal started life in 1996 as the Salleri Education Fund with the intention of improving the education of children in Nepal, and to raise communities’ awareness of environment, health and sanitation issues. Since then, we have grown considerably, and our work now not only focuses on education issues, but we also run a volunteers’ scheme and organise sanitation projects. Through such programmes, we hope to increase North – South understanding and to enable the two cultures to share their knowledge and skills
